Tortoise: It means that you and I, Achilles, were suddenly and instantaneously transported to Tumbolia.

Achilles: To where?

Tortoise: Tumbolia, the land of dead hiccups and extinguished light bulbs. It's a sort of waiting room, where dormant software waits for its host hardware to come back up. No telling how long the System was down, and we were in Tumbolia. It could have been moments, hours, days—even years.

Tumbolia is land where ideas intertwine, writers flourish.

The nucleic force of Tumbolia is its community. Writers, dreamers, thinkers, and anyone who has ever been struck by the whisper of an idea will find solace and camaraderie here. Find acquaintances who resonate with your writing style or theme and form alliances that go beyond words.

The field moves fast, and honestly, keeping up sometimes feels like trying to drink from a fire hose. But that's part of what keeps it interesting. I've learned to be comfortable with not knowing everything which, given the pace of change in AI and systems thinking, is probably the most practical skill.
