About Osman Orhan
Tortoise: It means that you and I, Achilles, were suddenly and instantaneously transported to Tumbolia.
Achilles: To where?
Tortoise: Tumbolia, the land of dead hiccups and extinguished light bulbs. It's a sort of waiting room, where dormant software waits for its host hardware to come back up. No telling how long the System was down, and we were in Tumbolia. It could have been moments, hours, days—even years.
Tumbolia is land where ideas intertwine, writers flourish.
The nucleic force of Tumbolia is its community. Writers, dreamers, thinkers, and anyone who has ever been struck by the whisper of an idea will find solace and camaraderie here. Find acquaintances who resonate with your writing style or theme and form alliances that go beyond words.
It's a thriving habitat where your ideas aren't just written; they're weaved into the fabric of a collective tapestry. Here, every sentence is a thread, and every story is part of a larger narrative. Whether you have a fleeting idea or a fully-fledged plot, bring it to the Tumbolia and watch it evolve, influenced by the ideas and interactions that only our community can provide.
The field moves fast, and honestly, keeping up sometimes feels like trying to drink from a fire hose. But that's part of what keeps it interesting. I've learned to be comfortable with not knowing everything which, given the pace of change in AI and systems thinking, is probably the most practical skill.
I write and think in both Turkish and English, and this blog reflects that duality. Each post grows from something I've read, experienced, or puzzled over. I share these thoughts not because I have all the answers, but because I believe dialogue enriches understanding.
When I'm not immersed in code or systems, I find myself drawn to philosophy and literature. There's something deeply satisfying about the rhythm of reading, thinking, and writing.
If you're working on an interesting problem and think a conversation might help, I'd enjoy hearing about it.
